Happy New Year to everyone! It's been a while since my last post and we have been so very busy since then. We have been experimenting with chopping, baking and cooking as well as learning about the concepts of rhythm and song. We really enjoyed all our preparations for the Holiday celebration and were so happy to see the faces of our lovely families as they enjoyed in the "feast" and performance.
Now that we have returned for the next year we have been greeted with some wintery weather and some icy mornings. We try to get outside when we can and other times we get to play games in the gym and the classroom. The scooters have been a blast as well as Mrs. Nikki says (variation of Simon Says) and relay races with puff balls and straws. Sometimes we bring the snow inside when it's too cold to go out and this last week we loved using the colored water in spray bottles! I am adding some pictures of our adventures.
